Guests With Disabilities

Ensuring freedom and mobility for your next day out in Skegness
At Fantasy Island, our customers always come first! We are happy to advise you on the best mobility solutions for your needs. We strongly believe in improving the quality of life for those with a disability, through freedom and mobility for your day out in Skegness!
For all enquiries please contact our Guest Services and Sales Manager on 01754 871944 or use the below contact form.
If a guest has the correct documentation and needs accompanying on the rides due to their disability, their accompanying carer can receive a half-price wristband.
Please note that we can only offer this discount on 1-day wristbands; it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is not available online. To redeem this discount, the carer must purchase their wristband upon arrival.
As Fantasy Island staff are not permitted to make a judgement as to whether an individual has a disability or not, suitable evidence would need to be provided. Suitable evidence which shows a carer requirement could be any of the following:
Disability Living Allowance (DLA) letter
Disability Access Pass (aka A Nimbus Card)
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) letter
Universal Credit Carers Allowance letter
Unfortunately, we do not offer a fast track, however, we have system in place where a member of your group can queue in place of another who is not able to. Once the member has reached the entrance to the ride, the person/s unable to queue may come through the exit. If you would like this system in place, please speak with your Customer Service Assistant upon arrival.
The safety of our guests is the highest priority at Fantasy Island. In the unlikely event of a ride evacuation, we have various robust procedures in place which our staff members are trained in executing so that an evacuation can be carried out as safely and as efficiently as possible.
An evacuation process can include, but is not limited to; the use of a ladder, walking down stairs or using machinery to transport the guests from a height, each visitor will be strapped into a harness throughout the process until the guest is on ground level as well as being guided by our trained staff members.
Wheelchair users must be able to transfer from their own chair into the ride vehicle without assistance and throughout the evacuation procedure.
