A Great British Tidy – cleaning up our beaches
On the 22nd of May, 2023, Fantasy Island, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Skegness Coastal Access for All joined forces for the second Skegness Beach clean-up event. With 60 enthusiastic participants, the event was a resounding success as they diligently cleared the shoreline of litter and debris.
Vicki Bush from Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust said, “It was a pleasure to join Skegness Pier and Coastal Access for All to clean Skegness Beach. The staff team from Skegness Pier worked hard to make the beach cleaner and safer for wildlife and visitors.”
Phil Gaskell from Skegness Coastal Access for All added, “We are pleased to continue supporting the company’s beach cleans with equipment and advice. The staff were hardworking and enjoyed themselves throughout. Look out for CAFA’s public beach cleans coming up soon.”
