Why Fantasy Island makes a perfect holiday for all ages
Keeping different generations happy can be hard, especially on a family holiday. You might have some youngsters wanting to run around and burn off energy, but you may also have the grandparents looking for a chance to relax and put their feet up. Luckily, Fantasy Island is one of the funfairs in England that makes this possible.
For the youngsters under 0.9m
Fantasy Island provides the ‘Little Explorer’ wristband, where kids under 0.9m can get onto their age-appropriate rides for free! There are many different rides that the youngest members of the group can explore, including the Seaquarium, where you can set sail with Captain Rhombus and discover the crazy crustaceans and funky fish for a musical adventure!
For those over 0.9m but under 1.1m
This group of kids have access to the ‘Adventurer wristband’, which allows them onto bigger rides. These include the amazing Rhombus Rocket, where you can soar up and look down on the park from a great height. Also included is the Log Flume, where you’ll be plunged into the water below (you might want to bring a change of clothes!).
For adrenaline junkies over 1.1m
Those over 1.1m tall have access to all the rides in the park. One of the biggest and best of these rides is the Millennium, a rollercoaster that goes around the entire park! It is 150 ft high, goes 55.9 mph, and is 2736 ft long with 2 vertical loops and a sidewinder; it’s not for the fainthearted! Also included is the Techno Jump, where you’ll find yourself strapped in a car that bounces up and down, lifting you out of your seat!
For those who want to relax
Holidays are a key time to relax and unwind, and if hopping on one of our rides doesn’t do that for you, that’s fine because we have plenty of other things going on! In our onsite accommodation, we have large flat-screen TVs and plush sofas to put your feet up on. In the funfair, there is an abundance of restaurants and bars where you can grab a drink or some food, and simply watch the fun going on around you!
There really is something for the whole family at Fantasy Island, so you won’t be disappointed!
At the time of posting this blog, November 2020, the park is currently closed due to Government advice. Please keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for COVID19 updates.
