Things you need to take to Fantasy Island in hot weather

With the weather getting hotter as summer gets into full swing, it’s incredibly important that you do everything you can to ensure that you and your loved ones are well-protected on hot days.

If you’re planning a trip to Fantasy Island, here are some things you need to remember to ensure you’ll have the best time possible at our theme park!

Sun cream

This is one of the most important and obvious items you need to bring with you on your trip to a theme park. In summer, temperatures can get up to around 28 degrees, which can cause the skin to burn without sunscreen, especially for young children. Make sure you read up on how to properly apply sunscreen before you spend the whole day out in the sun.

Fantasy Island also has lots of seating areas and places in the shade so that you don’t have to spend all of your days in the sun.

Water

Hydration is one of the most important things you should think about if you are planning a day trip to Fantasy Island in the hot sun. Make sure you take a few bottles of cool water with you so that you stay well hydrated.

If you do run out of water or drinks, don’t worry! Fantasy Island has over 40 eateries, perfect for grabbing a drink or a spot of lunch, which will give you a chance to cool down and relax with your favourite food.

Sun hats and sunglasses

Another great way to protect you and your children from the sun is to make sure that you bring sun hats and sunglasses. If you have young children, you want to make sure that they are well protected from the sun as their skin is more sensitive than ours. Sun hats can help stop the sun’s rays from burning the top of their head and neck and will help keep them cool throughout the day. Sunglasses will also make sure that your eyes are protected from the sun. Just make sure that you don’t lose them on the rides!
