Ghosts, Ghouls, and Giggles: Halloween at Fantasy Island

Fantasy Island is a fantastic family funfair, known for providing many a memorable day out in Lincolnshire for locals and visitors thanks to amazing rides, classic stalls, and a variety of snacks to indulge in. Now that summer has come and gone and the kids are back in school, the days of stuffing your face with candy floss and spending hours at the fair seem long gone. Halloween graces the autumn season each year, a night where all the ghosts and ghouls of the world walk the earth bringing spookiness with them. Since 2017, Fantasy Island has hosted terrifically terrifying events to celebrate everything spooky including an abundance of attractions and shows. This year marks the third of Fear Island, Fantasy Island’s festive Halloween counterpart, and it promises to be a hair-raising experience once again with terribly tempting new events. Swing by the Circus of Screams for a show full of stupendous stunts you’ll never forget, or drop into the Wicked Witches Show for spooky, family-friendly fun with Wilamena, Wanda and Winnie.

Those looking for a more daring and dangerous experience may wish to try their luck at escaping one of several mazes, but be warned, they’re not for the faint of heart…Try Torchure if you trust yourself to navigate dangerous dungeons with just a candle to light the way, or enter the Psycho Vault if you wish to outrun the bloodthirsty killer Edward Slice. If mazes aren’t quite your thing, enjoy an evening at Voodoo Bay with live music, themed food and drinks, and a lively atmosphere celebrating Haitian dark magic.

Of course, it’s not a celebration without fireworks! Throughout October on Wednesday evenings, join us for fantastic firework displays shortly after sunset. Grab a hot chocolate or cup of tea and cuddle up with loved ones as fiery colours light the night sky.
