Fantasy island: the ideal place to take your grandkids!
If you look after your grandchildren a couple of days a week and are looking for days out in Lincolnshire, why not take them to Fantasy Island? It’s one of the best things to do in Skegness for all ages – here’s why you should take your grandkids to Fantasy Island!
There’s something for all ages
Even if your grandchildren are pre-school age, there is still plenty that they will enjoy at Fantasy Island. With our little explorer pass, you pay less for small children yet they still get to experience a fun theme park. Rides that appeal to younger children include the Seaquarium Ride and Jellikins Ride. And we don’t just have rides too – your grandkids could also enjoy the bowling alley or our funfair games!
You can choose the tickets that you want
You can either pay as you go for each ride that you want, or you can get a wristband for all the rides (including the little explorer wristband). If there are two or more adults, this means that you can decide if you want to all go on the rides with the kids, or someone can sit a ride out – and you won’t be wasting any money.
Fantasy Island is quietest during the week
If your grandkids are pre-school age, you can make the most of your weekday babysitting days to visit Fantasy Island when it’s quietest! Like most attractions, during weekdays you can expect to queue a lot less and spend more time enjoying the rides. Just don’t tell the big kids that they’re missing out!
It’s one of the best family bonding activities
It’s really nice for grandparents and grandkids to make these kinds of memories together. Fantasy Island is the ideal day out for all ages, with so many different rides. You could easily spend all day here with your grandkids, and it will be a day that you will look back on fondly when they have grown up. Be sure to take plenty of pictures while you’re there!
You’re in a lovely Skegness location
As we mentioned, you could easily spend all day here at Fantasy Island, but we are in a great Skegness location too, one of the best beach resorts in the UK. So when you’ve finished on the rides, you can take a walk down to the beach and enjoy some fish and chips for dinner. It’s the perfect Lincolnshire day out!
