Calling all courageous knights!
We are on the search for courageous knights to defend the Kingdom from the growing darkness. Our new ride that’s coming soon, The Guardian, is sure to make Fantasy Island one of the most exhilarating things to do in Skegness. Are you ready to save the Kingdom? Will you survive the quest?
Knights in training
Knights in training will have lots of opportunities to perfect their skills with the help of the many rides at Fantasy Island, one of the top amusement parks in England. Conquer any fear of heights and speed by braving The Millennium coaster, which rises 150ft high and travels at 55.9mph. Pick up some tips from Captain Rhombus by taking a high-speed ride on his rocket-powered train or boarding his boat around the Seaquarium in search of amazing creatures from the sea. Learn to cope with twists and turns and conquer your disorientation on Magic. Water might come in handy when trying to defeat a dragon, so mastering high-speed drops into water is a must on the Log Flume. You never know when you may need to jump out of the way of a dragon, so test your jumping skills on Techno Jump.
Knight requirements
To embark on the quest, all knights need to be at least 1.4m tall and be in possession of a Discovery Wristband, which gives you access to all rides at Fantasy Island theme park (some rides do have individual height restrictions). If you’re bringing apprentice knights with you who are not yet big enough to take on The Guardian quest, other wristband options are available.
There are other rides available to those 1.1m and taller with the Discovery Wristband. The Adventurer wristband is suitable for anyone 0.9m or above and gives you access to Adventurer and Little Explorer rides. Children who are under 0.9m can get into Fantasy Island completely FREE with a Little Explorers wristband, making Fantasy Island one of the best things to do in Skegness for all the family.
Knight fuel
All knights need to be full of energy and well hydrated, so don’t forget to refuel at one of the many places to eat and drink at Fantasy Island theme park. Maybe a cake or ice cream will be needed between training sessions?
